West Greenbriar Drive
With two hundred and fifty lineal feet of water front property, the owners of this lakefront home on Lake LBJ wanted an outdoor living space that would bring them right to the water’s edge.
The client wanted the structure to match the home’s mountain style while incorporating functional details that would provide for easy entertaining of family and friends. The home’s ribbed metal roof was duplicated on the cabana while stained timber trusses and beams were used on the ceiling. Hand-stripped cedar balusters, and chopped Oklahoma stone columns were used on the perimeter, and subtle accent lighting provides evening enjoyment by the lake. The focal point, however, is the massive rock fireplace centered between the outdoor grille and a window seat style bench that cantilevers over the water’s edge.
